AI cover song 소리

a certain percentage of them are always artificially generated by AI.

I realized a surprising fact while I was relaxing and listening to music on YouTube after work. Among the songs I frequently listen to these days, I discovered that a certain percentage of them are always artificially generated by AI.

It all started in May when my younger sibling introduced me to an AI cover song. It was a cover of the song "Hype Boy" by Korean artist Newjeans, performed by Bruno Mars.

This combination will be almost impossible for Bruno Mars, who is fluent in Korean, to quickly release the cover song before the popularity of Hype-Boy disappears.

Interesting comments were posted on the video that was used to create the cover song.

"Wow, you've become Bruno Mars!"

AI-generated cover songs

Since I first watched that video in May, AI-generated cover songs have been included in the music I listen to every day, and the proportion of such songs is gradually increasing.

I pondered why I listen to AI cover songs, and the reason is simple.

It's because I want to listen to them but can't.

There are various reasons why I can't listen to certain songs. The singer may have ended their career a long time ago, or they may be a foreign artist with a language barrier, or they could be an idol currently on a long hiatus. It could also be that the singer has no intention of singing the particular song.

However, I can listen to them.

But listener can hear it.
Because the listener is willing to listen. It seems as if the subject of the cover song has changed. Even if the original singer has no intention of singing, I can still listen if I want to.

The comments are full of praise for singers who haven't even sung a single verse.

Of course, there's no praise for their vocal skills.

Instead, they compliment the beauty of their unique vocal tone.

Is enjoying the similarity of voices in songs all there is to it?
One of my friend looks at this very critically. He sees it as a manipulation of music, similar to applying filters to photos. He believe it's just a way of replacing the original voice with a voice I like.

BTS is currently on temporary hiatus due to their members who have to fulfill their mandatory military services. Even if all seven members resume group porjects in the future, it remains uncertain whether they will continue to release dance tracks like before.

Today, when I searched for 'BTS AI cover' on YouTube, to my surprise, I found several cover songs where all seven members seemed to have sung. It's amazing that I didn't search for this earlier!

Among them, there was even a song that I've been frequently listening to lately. It's a song that is part of the recent "Fast and Furious" OST, and BTS member Jimin participated in it. In the original song, other foreign artists were involved in the remaining parts. However, in this AI cover, Jimin's voice was actually included, and it was made to sound as if the rest of the BTS members also sang together. Perhaps because I listened to it during my commute, I could faintly hear the original singer's voice when listening to the cover songs, but it was very natural.

The second song I discovered was "In S-class" by Stray Kids.
It was delightful and enjoyable to listen to how much they sounded like the actual voices.

It's as if they've finished their hiatus and released a song again.
No, it's like that.
Now that I'm going to keep listening to AI covers.

If singers film a cover video like this, they will be able to create various contents not only during theirs hiatus but also during the activities. This is a matter of benefit or loss for singers. Of course, in order to gain this level of popularity, you will have to come first with the voice of a "person" to build awareness, and to a certain degree.

It was amazing that I was enjoying and liking artificial intelligence creations every day.
I'm having a lot of fun.

In fact, I am not enjoying the image generation service or the writing generation service.

However, I don't want to go back to when there was no AI cover music!

I think it's becoming possible for AI to replace some kind of unique, human-only thing.

Even if favorite singer actually covered the same song, sometimes I listen to AI cover songs. Because it has the entire length, not part of the song, ang a good sound quality.

When artificial intelligence takes over the voice of missing people, those who have passed away..

Maybe,

I will accept it without being wary. Thoughts followed with anxiety and surprise.

I always tried to be wary of artificial intelligence technology coming in an anthropomorphic form.
I thought I had to be careful about AI trying to replace my relationship with people or memories, and I thought I had to set my standards in advance to see if I could accept them.

But looking at it today, I think I've already broken that alertness.

Last month, I came across the fact that a virtual game simulating reality was being used in therapy, despite its graphics not providing a high level of realism. However, what it did was faithfully recreate the scenes of accidents as the patient remembered them. While watching these videos, soldiers were able to effortlessly recount their experiences. Perhaps it's not so much about how realistic it is, but rather how much they want to see those scenes again that matters.
